MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
GENERAL ACCOUNTING
1.
Prepare and
record journal entries and general ledger reconciliations.
2.
Maintain and
reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts.
3.
Assist in the
preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
4.
Ensure accurate
and timely posting of all accounting transactions.
5.
Monitor and
analyze financial data and assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
6.
Support internal
and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
7.
Ensure compliance
with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
8.
Assist with the
preparation of tax filings and regulatory reports.
9.
Perform variance
analysis and report significant issues to management.
10. Recommend process improvements and contribute to the
implementation of accounting systems.
ACCOUNTS
PAYABLE - SUPPORT
11. Review and process employee reimbursement,
liquidation, cash advance forms for accuracy and compliance with company
policies. Ensure appropriate documentation (e.g. BIR registered receipts),
accuracy of amount, and completeness of receipts and proper approval
12. Ensure timely payments of employee reimbursement and
cash advances and maintain accurate records.
13. Create monitoring and schedules for liquidation of
employee allowances
14. Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
15. Maintain organized filing of documents (hard copy,
soft copy, back ups)
QUALIFICATION AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
1. Bachelors degree in
Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. 2+ years of relevant
experience in general accounting or financial reporting.
3. Strong knowledge of
accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS).
4. Proficient in accounting
software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
5. High attention to detail
and accuracy.
6. Strong analytical and
problem-solving skills.
7. Excellent organizational
and time-management abilities.
8. Good written and verbal
communication skills.
SKILLS
1.
Proficiency
in using QuickBooks for journal entries.

Excellent
