Actuarial Analyst, Quezon City

Prepares product viability worksheets; conducts actuarial valuation of liabilities; calculates premiums; performs periodic experience studies using generally accepted actuarial principles and practices, and in compliance with government regulations and requirements; reviews and provides management reports; and handles product-related submissions to the Insurance Commission, with the objective of delivering comprehensive and timely reports and ensuring the long-term financial viability and profitability of the company.

• Prepares product viability worksheets as needed and/or upon direction of the management to ensure viable pricing options are acceptable and are aligned with strategic business objectives.
• Conducts quarterly valuation of liabilities as part of regulatory compliance to the Insurance Commission and in order to support/ensure long-term financial viability of the company.
• Performs periodic study of company experience in terms of utilization, persistency and efficiencies, as well as evaluation of sources of profits in order to ensure the relevance and validity of pricing assumptions.
• Calculates planholder insurance premiums due for payment; prepares reports on premiums and actual claims experience; and communicates with third-party insurance service provider for premium-related concerns.
• Prepares and/or reviews and provides management reports, which include key result areas and company-wide sales operations performance in order to assist the top management in improving and implementing its strategic operational objectives; and in order to provide reportorial/functional/data requirements of other concerned departments
• Prepares and/or consolidates and submits/uploads product-related applications such as Product Pricing/Repricing, Additional Life Plans; and regulatory requirements such as Monthly Sales and Collection Report, Annual Statements, Valuation Reports to the Insurance Commission in order to ensure compliance and proper accountability
