Description
  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Management of Finance related courses.
  • With at least 5 years of relevant experience in General Accounting in a supervisory position
  • With knowledge in systems and procedures, cost or management accounting, warehousing and auditing
  • with mature disposition
  • Manages the Accounts Receivables (A/R) to provide timely and accurate A/R aging reports, monitor long outstanding receivables, prompt processing of Sales Invoice and debit/credit documents needed by the sales representatives for collection from customers
  • Checks monthly sales register, debit/credit memo registers, cash receipts register
  • Prepares the monthly bank reconciliation with all banks
  • Prepares monthly and quarterly VAT return for filling with the BIR Office
  • Assists in proper and timely documentation, recording, monitoring, reporting and control of all activities and transactions within the accounts receivable section
  • Verifies the correctness of the Cash Advance Requests and Liquidations of Sales and ensures that these are within the approved Sales Allowances Policy
  • Manages, directs and supervises the Accounts Payable section of the Accounting Department and ensures that all expenses and billings for payment are processes on time
  • Assists in the preparation of the documents and other requirements of the BIR auditors and external auditors during the annual audit
  • Ensures timely payment of taxes and due to the government agencies such as withholding taxes on compensation, expanded withholding taxes, and SSS/HDMF/Philhealth remittances
  • Assists the Comptroller in the preparation of the monthly Financial Reports
  • Assists in the preparation of Annual Budget
  • Prepares the payroll for all employees
  • Other tasks that maybe assigned.
