Finance Assistant
Work Location: Head Office
Salary Range: Php 20,000 - 25,000
1. Daily Tasks
Finance Monitoring
Update financial monitoring files for all transactions.
Collect and file hard copy documentation for all finance-related activities.
Business Online Banking (BDO)
Upload daily transactions to BDO Business Online Banking.
Print and request validation of corporate checks.
Petty Cash Fund (PCF)
Approve and release petty cash fund requests.
Review and approve petty cash expense reports.
2. Weekly Tasks
Enroll new employees in the ACA system.
Process payroll every 15th and 30th, including conversion and uploading through BDO Business Online Banking.
3. Monthly Tasks
Tax Payments and Compliance (BIR)
Prepare fund requests for BIR payments (Expanded and Compensation taxes).
Report withholding taxes using the BIR online system.
Prepare Managers Checks for tax remittances.
Petty Cash Management
Consolidate all petty cash requests and prepare fund requests via Docswave.
Maintain proper documentation and file organization.
Replenish monthly petty cash funds.
Wire Transfers
Prepare wire transfers from Dollar to Peso accounts.
Process fund transfers from Head Office main account to CDP sub-accounts.
Finance Monitoring
Review compliance monitoring reports and recommend sanctions for non-
compliance.
4. Other / Special Tasks
Assist in BIR-related matters such as transfer of business address, Authority to
Print (ATP), and processing of updated Official Receipts.
Coordinate banking-related requirements such as updating authorized signatories.
Serve as Petty Cash Custodian and BDO Online Banking handler for the Head Office.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Management, or other relevant field.
Preferably 12 years of experience in finance or administrative work, ideally within the development sector (NGO or INGO).
Knowledge in QuickBooks is required.
Strong attention to detail, particularly with numbers and deadlines.
High level of accuracy and confidentiality in handling organizational financial records.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
