Logistics Supervisor, Quezon City

Logistics Officer is responsible for managing end-to-end logistics operations to ensure efficient movement, storage, and distribution of goods.

Core Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end logistics operations, including order processing, inventory control, warehousing, and distribution

Process and verify customer orders, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely fulfillment

Oversee receiving of goods, including inspection, documentation, and proper storage

Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock counts

Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid shortages or overstocking

Plan and coordinate dispatch activities, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods

Coordinate with suppliers, transport providers, and third-party logistics (3PL) partners to ensure smooth operations

Arrange booking of shipments across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao (VIZMIN), ensuring proper scheduling, complete documentation, and effective coordination with shipping lines and freight providers

Prepare and manage shipping and delivery documentation, including invoices, packing lists, delivery receipts, and trip tickets

Validate billing of partner truckers, ensuring accuracy and completeness of charges, and file proof of deliveries for records

Calculate cubic meters (CBM) for shipments to determine the appropriate truck type and optimize transport capacity

Track shipments and proactively resolve delays, damages, or discrepancies

Monitor performance of logistics partners against service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs)

Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Analyze logistics data and recommend improvements to optimize cost, efficiency, and service quality

Perform manpower forecasting and management by assessing workload requirements, forecasting staffing needs, allocating resources efficiently, and ensuring optimal team performance

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field

Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations (preferred)

Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Excellent communication and coordination abilities

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics or inventory systems

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
