Position Overview

Perez Ventures Group of Companies is seeking a highly strategic and innovative Chief AI Officer (CAIO) to lead the companys artificial intelligence vision, strategy, and implementation across our growing e-commerce operations.

The CAIO will be responsible for leveraging AI technologies to drive revenue growth, optimize operations, enhance customer experience, and strengthen data-driven decision-making across all digital platforms and brands.

This executive role will work closely with the CEO, COO, Marketing, IT, Data, and Creative teams to integrate AI into the core of our e-commerce ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities1. AI Strategy & Leadership

• Develop and execute a comprehensive AI roadmap aligned with the companys e-commerce growth strategy.
• Identify opportunities to implement AI in sales forecasting, demand planning, customer segmentation, and pricing optimization.
• Serve as the organizations lead authority on AI innovation and digital transformation.

2. E-Commerce Optimization

• Implement AI-powered recommendation engines to improve conversion rates and average order value.
• Optimize digital advertising performance using AI-driven analytics and predictive modeling.
• Enhance search functionality, personalization, and customer journey mapping across e-commerce platforms.
• Leverage AI tools for inventory forecasting and supply chain optimization.

3. Automation & Operational Efficiency

• Introduce AI-based automation for customer service (chatbots, AI agents).
• Streamline internal workflows through machine learning and intelligent automation.
• Improve fraud detection, risk assessment, and transaction monitoring systems.

4. Data & Analytics Governance

• Establish data governance policies and AI compliance standards.
• Lead data science and AI engineering teams.
• Ensure ethical, secure, and responsible use of AI technologies.

5. Innovation & Competitive Advantage

• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and partnerships.
• Oversee AI tool integration across marketing, content creation, and performance analytics.
• Provide executive-level insights through predictive analytics dashboards.

Qualifications

• Masters degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred).
• Minimum of 810 years of experience in AI, machine learning, data science, or advanced analytics.
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership role, preferably within e-commerce, retail, or digital business.
• Proven experience implementing AI solutions that directly increased revenue or operational efficiency.
• Strong understanding of:
• Machine learning frameworks
• Predictive analytics
• Natural language processing (NLP)
• Recommendation systems
• Automation tools
• Experience working with large-scale e-commerce data and digital marketing analytics.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
