Network Administrator, Quezon City

The Network Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the organizations network infrastructure and related systems. This role ensures reliable and secure network operations, including LAN/WAN, firewalls, CCTV systems, and connectivity across all sites.

In addition, the role provides secondary technical support for hardware and end-user devices, ensuring overall IT service continuity. The position also plays a key role in implementing and supporting IT infrastructure improvements aligned with the companys IT roadmap.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Network Administration & Infrastructure

Administer and maintain network infrastructure, including: LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi networks and routers, switches, and access points

Configure and manage network devices and services.

Monitor network performance, availability, and security.

Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, outages, and connectivity problems.

Ensure network reliability and minimal downtime across all locations.

Maintain and update network documentation, diagrams, and configurations.

2. Firewall, VPN & Security Systems

Configure, manage, and monitor firewall systems

Implement and maintain network security policies and access controls.

Manage and support VPN connections for secure remote access

Monitor network traffic and identify potential security threats or vulnerabilities.

Coordinate with vendors for advanced firewall or security configurations when needed.

3. CCTV & Physical Security Systems

Manage and monitor CCTV systems, including:

oCamera functionality and recording systems

oStorage and playback systems

Troubleshoot and coordinate maintenance of CCTV hardware and software.

Work with vendors for installation, upgrades, and repairs.

4. Security, Compliance & IT Roadmap Execution

Ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices.

Implement and support infrastructure improvements, including network upgrades and security enhancements

Participate in the execution of the companys IT roadmap, including VPN expansion, network segmentation and Infrastructure scalability

Identify opportunities to improve network performance, security, and reliability.

5. IT Support

Provide technical support for PCs, laptops, printers, and other peripherals when required

Assist users with basic hardware and connectivity issues

Support onboarding and offboarding (device setup and basic access configuration)

Escalate complex user issues to appropriate teams or vendors
