Job description:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Dispatch / Cold / Desserts Station Crew to join our kitchen team. This role is responsible for preparing cold dishes and desserts, as well as ensuring accurate and timely dispatch of orders. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and maintains high standards of food quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble cold dishes (salads, appetizers, cheese platters, etc.)
- Prepare and plate desserts according to restaurant standards
- Ensure all orders are complete, accurate, and properly presented before dispatch
- Coordinate with kitchen and service staff for smooth order flow
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cold/dessert station
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
- Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory of ingredients for the station
- Assist in basic food prep when needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or similar role is an advantage
- Knowledge of food preparation, plating, and presentation
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
