Accounts Payable Specialist, Quezon City

Responsibilities:

Process and verify delivery receipts (DRs) against purchase orders and supplier invoices.

Maintain an organized filing system for all supplier invoices, purchase orders, and payment documentation.

Coordinate with Purchasing and Logistics departments to verify receipt of goods before processing payment.

Prepare and process check vouchers and online payment transactions.

Monitor payment due dates and prepare payment schedules to optimize cash flow and avoid penalties.

Handle supplier inquiries regarding payment status and resolve payment discrepancies.

Prepare accounts payable aging reports for management review.

Process supplier credit memos, debit memos, and payment adjustments.

Maintain accurate supplier master data and payment terms in the accounting system.

Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures for accounts payable.

Support external audits by providing accounts payable documentation and reconciliations.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures for payment processing.

Contribute to process improvements to enhance payment efficiency and vendor satisfaction.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree in accounting or finance
• Works well under pressure and minimal supervision
• Computer literate
• Advanced MS Excel skills and/or Google Sheets
• Preferably has experience in using Xero Accounting software
• Knowledge in financial regulations
• Knowledge in financial and accounting procedures
• At least 1 to 2 years of experience as a Finance staff or similar role
