Truck Driver, Quezon City

The Truck Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery, transfer, and positioning of company trucks, heavy equipment, and related units to customers, warehouses, ports, and project sites. This role ensures proper vehicle handling, compliance with safety regulations, and accurate documentation of all transport activities to support Astra Multimarket Corporations distribution and delivery operations.

• Safely operate company trucks and transport vehicles to deliver units, parts, and equipment to designated locations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are in good operating condition
• Ensure proper loading, securing, and unloading of vehicles and equipment during transport
• Follow assigned delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely completion of deliveries
• Maintain accurate trip records, delivery receipts, and required transport documentation
• Observe all traffic laws, safety standards, and company driving policies
• Report vehicle issues, incidents, delays, or accidents immediately to the supervisor
• Assist in basic vehicle care such as cleaning, fueling, and minor checks
• Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, and service teams for delivery schedules and instructions
• Support unit transfer between warehouses, service centers, ports, and customer locations as required

• High school graduate or equivalent
• With valid Professional Drivers License appropriate for truck operation
• At least 2 years of experience driving trucks or heavy vehicles (preferred)
• Good knowledge of road safety rules and defensive driving practices

• Experience transporting heavy equipment or commercial vehicles
• Basic knowledge of vehicle inspection and minor troubleshooting
• Responsible, safety-conscious, and dependable
• Good coordination and communication skills
