Internal Auditor, Quezon City

Job Summary

The Internal Auditor is responsible for examining and evaluating the companys financial records, operational processes, and internal control systems to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role helps safeguard company assets, verify inventory accuracy, and improve operational efficiency across Astra Multimarket Corporations departments, including sales, warehousing, service, and logistics.

Key Responsibilities

Audit & Compliance

• Conduct internal audits of financial transactions, operational procedures, and internal control systems
• Evaluate compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations
• Review procurement, sales, and inventory processes to ensure accuracy and transparency

Inventory & Asset Verification

• Perform regular audits of vehicle inventory, spare parts, and warehouse stocks
• Verify physical inventory against system records and investigate discrepancies
• Ensure proper monitoring and documentation of company assets and equipment

Financial Review

• Examine accounting records, financial documents, and supporting schedules
• Identify irregularities, errors, or potential fraud in financial transactions
• Ensure proper documentation and authorization of payments, purchases, and sales

Reporting & Recommendations

• Prepare audit reports detailing findings, risks, and recommendations
• Provide practical solutions to strengthen internal controls and operational efficiency
• Monitor implementation of corrective actions recommended during audits

Coordination & Investigation

• Work closely with Accounting, Warehouse, Sales, and Service departments during audit activities
• Investigate unusual transactions, discrepancies, or operational issues
• Assist in preparing documents and reports for external audits if required

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accountancy, Internal Auditing, Finance, or related field
• At least 24 years of experience in auditing or accounting
• Knowledge of internal control procedures and audit standards
• Strong analytical and investigative skills
• High level of integrity and attention to detail
