Purchasing Specialist, Quezon City

The Purchasing Officer is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing raw materials, packaging materials, and supplies needed for cosmetic and perfume production. The role ensures that all purchases meet company quality standards, are delivered on time, and are obtained at the most competitive price while maintaining good relationships with suppliers.

• Source and evaluate suppliers for cosmetic raw materials, fragrance oils, packaging materials, and other production supplies.
• Request and compare quotations from multiple suppliers to ensure cost efficiency.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.
• Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse and production teams to ensure timely replenishment of materials.
• Ensure that purchased materials meet quality standards and regulatory requirements for cosmetics.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
• Coordinate with the accounting department for invoice verification and payment processing.
• Track delivery schedules and follow up with suppliers regarding delays or discrepancies.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with reliable suppliers.

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• At least 13 years experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in cosmetics, perfume, or manufacturing industry.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Knowledge of sourcing raw materials and packaging for cosmetic products is an advantage.
• Proficient in MS Excel and inventory management systems.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple suppliers.
