  • Sourcing & Vendor Management: Researching, selecting, and evaluating suppliers to maintain strong, professional relationships.
  • Negotiation & Procurement: Negotiating contract terms, pricing, and delivery schedules to maximize ROI.
  • Inventory Control: Monitoring stock levels, conducting inventory inspections, and reordering supplies as needed.
  • Order Tracking & Logistics: Tracking orders, ensuring on-time delivery, and managing shipment issues.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of purchases, invoices, and supplier details in databases (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Quality Assurance: Inspecting received goods to ensure they meet quality standards. 


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven work experience as a Purchasing Officer, Purchasing Agent, or in a similar role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and ERP/procurement software.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market trends, evaluate vendor costs, and prepare reports.
  • Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
