Job Description: Human Capital Associate
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Associate to support our People Operations team. This role serves as the primary engine behind our day-to-day HR functions, ensuring that our administrative processes run smoothly and our employees receive top-tier support throughout their tenure.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Engagement & Culture
Event Planning: End-to-end coordination of company-wide events, including holiday parties, summer outings, team-building retreats, and monthly mixers.
Annual Engagement Calendar: Design and manage a year-round "Culture Calendar" that balances social fun, wellness initiatives, and professional development.
Recognition Programs: Own the "Rewards & Recognition" frameworkmanaging peer-to-peer shout-outs, anniversary celebrations, and performance awards.
Internal Branding: Create engaging content for internal newsletters, Slack/Teams channels, and office digital displays to keep energy high.
Culture Committee: Lead a volunteer group of "Culture Champions" from different departments to gather diverse ideas for activities.
Compensation and Benefits
Handles the administrative tasks of time-keeping using DTR biometrics, fieldwork assignment form, and provincial based DTR.
Monitors leave and absences for payroll purposes and submits same to Finance prior payroll cut-off.
Sends, submits, posts mandatory government dues and other related activities such as but not limited to loan application, inquiries, etc.
Ensures employees are informed before the cut-off period so they could pass their FAF (Fieldwork Assignment Form) or other required report, before sending report to Finance.
Send DTR, leaves, absences and fieldwork report to the management, head department for their reference, create a separate files per department.
Secure, keep and maintain 1601-C file coming from accounting and external parties.
HR Compliance & Administration
Data Integrity: Maintain accurate employee records
Policy Support: Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits, leave, and company policies.
Compliance: Assist in ensuring all HR practices meet local labor laws and internal audit standards.
Performance Evaluation
1.Assist in the administrative requirement of employees evaluation.
2.Assists in annual implementation of YPMA (Yearly Performance Management Assessment)
Recruitment
Partners with HR Supervisor and line leaders in determining staffing requirement.
Assist the HR Supervisor for posting vacancies to different job portals.
Screens resume of applicants and/or attend job fairs if needed
Performs background check and home address validation
Coordinates with line leaders, HR Supervisors and Finance Supervisor tools of trade needed by successful candidate such as working station, computer set, ID, biometrics access etc.
Ensures new hire paper work is completed and processed.
Partners with HR supervisor for the On-Boarding Orientation of New Hire Employee/s
Skills & Qualifications
RequirementDescription
Experience13 years in HR, People Ops, or a Culture-focused role.
CommunicationExceptional writing and presentation skills; ability to "read the room."
Tech SavvyFamiliar with photo and video editing software like CupCut or Canva
Soft SkillsHigh emotional intelligence, creativity, and a proactive "get it done" attitude.
