Accountant, Quezon

• Handle full BIR compliance including filing of tax returns (VAT, EWT, ITR, etc.)
• Maintain columnar books, journals, ledgers, and other accounting records
• Process and renew business permits, SEC/DTI, and LGU requirements
• Manage sales invoicing and monitor cash flow
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Prepare and reconcile monthly financial reports and year-end statements
• Handle SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, maternity benefit claims, and other employee government contributions
• Maintain and organize all supporting documents for audits and inspections
• Coordinate with external auditors and government agencies when necessary
• Assist in identifying and implementing improvements to financial processes and systems
• Work with other departments/teams to ensure accurate and timely financial information
• Assist in developing and managing budgets, forecasting financial performance, and tracking expenditures
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Management

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Accountant (CPA) or experienced Bookkeeper
• Bachelors degree in Accountancy or related field
• At least 23 years of experience in full-cycle accounting
• Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws and government reporting
• Understanding of employee benefits administration
• Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, etc.)
