GEMECO is a packaging company engaged in the manufacture of tin cans for infant dietetics, beverages, meat, fish, fruits, vegetables, and other food products.

GEMECOs customers include: Angel Milk, Alaska Milk, 555 Sardines, Argentina Corned Beef, Century Tuna, Ligo Sardines, Purefoods Hormel - San Miguel, Swift, Virginia Foods, and Youngstown.

Responsibilities

• Supervising installation and initial start-up of machines and equipment
• Ensuring that all safety procedures are in place and followed by workers
• Ensuring machines efficiency and good running condition at all times
• Overseeing the implementation of processes and systems

Requirements

• Candidate must be an Engineering graduate preferably in the field of Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical or its equivalent
• Highly technical - knowledgeable in machineries, equipment and design. Able to read machine manuals and draw machine diagrams
• With at least 5 years of experience in supervisory function
• Team player, with good interpersonal skills and proper coordination
