Accounting Manager, Quezon City

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time

- Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

- Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company and industry standards

- Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and other financial reports prepared by the accounting team

- Monitor and analyze financial data, identifying trends and variances and providing recommendations for improvement

- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, and provide regular updates to management on financial performance

- Ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

- Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants for annual audits and tax filings

- Train, mentor, and supervise accounting staff, providing guidance and support as needed

- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations, and make recommendations for process improvements and efficiencies

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

- Highly knowledgeable and experienced in general accounting

- Strong people-handling skills

- Process-oriented, highly organized, and detail-oriented

- Experience in financial reporting, BIR reports, and other compliance requirements

- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, with advanced Excel skills

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
