Role Description

The HR Supervisor acts as the vital bridge between strategic HR management and daily operational execution. In this role, you will oversee a team of HR professionals while ensuring that our people operationsfrom recruitment and payroll to employee relationsrun like a well-oiled machine.


Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor HR staff, guiding them on complex employee issues and professional development.
  • Employee Relations: Act as a primary point of contact for employee grievances, conducting investigations and mediating resolutions to maintain a positive workplace culture.
  • Operational Oversight: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of employees, including onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
  • Compliance & Policy: Ensure all HR activities align with local, state, and federal labor laws. Periodically audit and update the Employee Handbook.
  • Recruitment Strategy: Support the talent acquisition team in refining sourcing strategies and ensuring a high-quality candidate experience.
  • Benefits & Payroll: Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programs, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Reporting: Analyze HR metrics (turnover rates, time-to-hire, etc.) to provide actionable insights to senior leadership.


Qualifications

  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience in Human Resources and HR Management
  • Strong skills in Employee Relations, including conflict resolution and employee engagement
  • Experience in implementing and managing Performance Management systems and processes
  • Proficient in developing, implementing, and enforcing HR Policies
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or proven equivalent experience)
  • Experience in the healthcare or transportation industries is a plus
  • Strong conflict-resolution skills, discreet handling of confidential info, and excellent verbal/written communication
