The Procurement Officer is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing the companys materials, supplies, and services. This role ensures that procurement activities are conducted efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Identify, evaluate, and select qualified suppliers and vendors
- Prepare and process purchase requests, purchase orders, and related procurement documents
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers
- Ensure timely and accurate procurement of materials, equipment, and services
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing
- Maintain accurate procurement records, reports, and documentation
- Coordinate with internal departments to determine purchasing requirements
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or any related field
- At least 12 years of relevant experience in procurement or purchasing
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
