Japanese Bilingual Consultant, Quezon City

Position Overview

The Accounts Payable (Japanese Bilingual) professional is responsible for end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) activities, ensuring accurate invoice processing, timely payments, and compliance with local invoicing and tax regulations for Taiwan and Japan. This role supports finance operations within a shared services environment and requires strong system knowledge and bilingual communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end Accounts Payable / P2P processing, including invoice receipt, validation, posting, and payment.
• Ensure compliance with invoicing and tax guidelines for Taiwan and Japan.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies by coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate financial records in enterprise accounting systems such as Oracle, SAP, or PeopleSoft.
• Support month-end closing activities related to Accounts Payable.
• Adhere to internal controls, audit requirements, and company policies.
• Collaborate with regional and global finance teams within a shared services setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
• 24 years of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) or Accounts Payable experience.
• Experience in a Shared Services environment supporting Finance Operations for Taiwan, Japan, and/or China.
• Strong knowledge of invoicing processes and tax regulations for Taiwan and Japan.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise accounting systems such as Oracle, SAP, or PeopleSoft.
• Ability to speak, read, and write Japanese and/or Chinese.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
