Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Auto Electrician to join our team. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring and electronic components in various types of vehicles. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise in automotive electrical systems, excellent diagnostic abilities, and a keen attention to detail to ensure that all vehicles operate safely, reliably, and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical issues in vehicles using specialized diagnostic tools and equipment
• Install new electrical systems and components, including wiring, lighting, and accessories
• Test, troubleshoot, and replace faulty wiring, connectors, and electronic modules
• Read and interpret technical diagrams, wiring schematics, and service manuals
• Maintain and update service records and documentation
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards, industry regulations, and company protocols
• Collaborate with mechanics and other technicians to resolve complex mechanicalelectrical concerns
• Provide accurate cost estimates for repair work
• Stay current with emerging automotive technologies, diagnostic methods, and electrical components

Requirements and Skills

• Proven experience as an Auto Electrician or in a similar automotive electrical role
• Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, including ignition, lighting, air conditioning, and navigation systems
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as multimeters, scan tools, and oscilloscopes
• Familiarity with modern vehicle electronics, wiring diagrams, and computer-controlled systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and handle tasks with minimal supervision
• NC II Certificate (Automotive Electrical) is required
