Description

The Accounting Officer is responsible for managing the companys financial records, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, preparing financial reports, and supporting daily accounting operations. The role involves handling accounts payable/receivable, monitoring budgets, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Recording & Bookkeeping

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Record journal entries, general ledger transactions, and adjustments.
  • Monitor and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.


2. Financial Reporting

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Prepare the Monthly Rebates Reports and 2307 withholding for the Rental Charges.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Generate financial reports required by management and external auditors.


3. Reconciliation & Analysis

  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Reconcile supplier statements, expense reports, and other financial data.
  • Analyze financial information to identify trends, variances, and issues.


4. Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and government regulations.
  • Prepare and file taxes, government contributions, and other statutory requirements.
  • Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audits.


5. Coordination & Support

  • Coordinate with internal departments for billing, expense requests, and financial concerns.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Assist external auditors during audits by providing necessary documents and explanations.

Education:

  • Bachelors (Required) in Accountancy or related course


Experience:

  • At least 2 year experience in all facets of Accounting such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Reporting, Tax Compliance, Payroll, and Audit
