Finance Manager, Quezon City

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in managing financial operations with a primary focus on local tax compliance, financial reporting, and regulatory adherence. This role offers a significant opportunity to influence the companys financial strategy and ensure accurate and timely tax operations. The Finance Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to strengthen financial performance and uphold compliance.

Note: This role may require occasional travel based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Tax Compliance & Strategy:

• Oversee and ensure timely filing of all tax returns (corporate income tax, VAT/GST, payroll tax, etc.).
• Monitor changes in tax regulations and ensure the company remains compliant with all tax laws.
• Lead tax planning initiatives, providing strategic recommendations to minimize tax liabilities.
• Liaise with external tax advisors and auditors to manage tax audits and resolve tax-related issues.

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
• Develop financial models to analyze the impact of tax policies, financial forecasts, and budgeting.
• Provide actionable financial insights and recommendations to senior management on budgeting and cost management.

Risk Management & Internal Controls:

• Establish and enforce financial controls to mitigate risks related to financial misreporting and tax non-compliance.
• Conduct periodic audits to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports for board meetings and investors.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with other departments, including HR, legal, and operations, to ensure proper tax withholding, payments, and reporting.
• Provide guidance on tax implications of business decisions, including mergers, acquisitions, and new business ventures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or any related field.
• Proven experience (35+ years) in finance management, with strong expertise in tax compliance, including deep knowledge of tax laws, regulatory requirements, and financial reporting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to perform under pressure.
• Willing to travel based on business needs.
