Kitchen Assistant, Quezon City

The Kitchen Staff plays a vital role in ensuring smooth kitchen operations by assisting in food preparation, cooking, and maintaining cleanliness and order in the kitchen area. They support the cook/chef and help deliver quality food to customers.

Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• With or without experience (experience in food service or kitchen operations is an advantage)
• Knowledge of basic food preparation and kitchen safety
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Willing to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays
• Honest, hardworking, and a team player

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing ingredients (washing, cutting, measuring, etc.)
• Support the cook/chef in cooking and assembling dishes
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen at all times
• Properly clean and maintain kitchen utensils, equipment, and work areas
• Follow food safety standards and kitchen protocols
• Handle food items properly and store them according to guidelines
• Monitor inventory and report low stock to supervisors
• Dispose of waste properly and maintain overall kitchen hygiene
• Perform other tasks assigned by the Chef or Kitchen Supervisor
