Key Responsibilities

Lead & Coordinate the Accounting Team

• Supervise accounting assistants and encoders to ensure accurate and timely output
• Provide guidance, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet deadlines
• Foster a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement

Ensure Financial Accuracy & Timely Compliance

• Preparation of BIR filings (Forms 1601, 2550, 1702, Alpha list, and related submissions)
• Preparation of trial balance and Income Tax Return (ITR)
• Ensure adherence to Philippine accounting standards and tax regulations

Optimize Operations

• Monitor daily accounting processes and resolve discrepancies
• Work closely with the Accounting Head to clear backlogs and meet reporting timelines
• Suggest workflow improvements to enhance team productivity
• Monitor cash position, payments, and collections to maintain healthy cash flow

Support ERP & Systems Implementation

• Coordinate with the team to ensure proper use of accounting software and systems
• Help integrate improved reporting processes into ERP tools

Who You Are

• Bachelors degree in accounting or finance; CPA a plus but not required
• At least 35 years in accounting, with experience in compliance and supervisory work
• Strong review and verification skills with attention to detail
• Knowledge of Philippine taxation and BIR reporting, proficiency in Excel and accounting software
• Good communicator and problem-solver, able to work with minimal supervision
• Organized and methodical approach to managing multiple tasks.
