1. Customer Service and Sales:

• Greet customers in a friendly and enthusiastic manner.
• Accurately take customer orders for ice cream, toppings, cones, drinks, and other menu items.
• Provide product recommendations and inform customers about daily specials, promotions, and new flavors.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and efficiently.
• Ensure every customer has a positive and memorable experience.

2. Product Preparation and Serving:

• Scoop, prepare, and serve ice cream, sundaes, milkshakes, and other dessert items following standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Operate soft-serve machines, blenders, and other necessary equipment safely.
• Monitor and maintain the quality, temperature, and appearance of ice cream and toppings.
• Ensure accurate portion control to minimize waste and maintain consistency.

3. Cash Handling and Transactions:

• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently.
• Process various forms of payment, including cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments.
• Perform end-of-shift cash reconciliation and complete all necessary sales reports.

4. Cleaning and Maintenance:

• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the service area, preparation area, and public spaces (e.g., counters, floors, tables).
• Clean, wash, and sanitize all utensils, scooping equipment, and serving dishes regularly.
• Restock inventory (cones, napkins, spoons, toppings, etc.) promptly and efficiently.
• Perform opening and closing duties, which may include setting up displays, cleaning equipment, and securing the stall.

5. Inventory and Operations Support:

• Assist in receiving and storing supplies, ensuring proper rotation (FIFO - First In, First Out) of perishable items.
• Inform the Supervisor of low stock levels or equipment issues.
• Adhere strictly to all local health, safety, and food handling regulations.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Experience: Previous experience in food service, customer service, or retail is a plus, but not always required.
• Skills:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic mathematical skills and the ability to handle cash accurately.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A high level of energy, enthusiasm, and a positive, 'can-do' attitude.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (e.g., ice cream tubs).
