Driver and Messenger, Quezon City

Key Responsibilities:

1. Driving and Deliveries:

• Safely operate company vehicles, including light and heavy-duty trucks, for supply deliveries to designated locations.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods and supplies, following the scheduled routes.
• Perform routine vehicle checks and maintenance to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
• Assist in loading and unloading deliveries when required.

1. Messenger Duties:

• Deliver and collect documents, parcels, and other materials between company offices, clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure documents are properly signed, tracked, and securely delivered.
• Run errands such as paying bills, delivering important correspondence, or picking up office supplies.

1. Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle usage records, and any other necessary documentation.
• Assist with tracking deliveries and ensuring all required paperwork (e.g., receipts, delivery notes) is completed accurately.

1. Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while driving.
• Ensure that vehicles are always clean, fueled, and ready for use.
• Follow safety protocols when handling packages, goods, and any other company assets.

1. Additional Duties:

• Assist with other related tasks or assignments as directed by the supervisor or management team.

Qualifications:

• Valid drivers license with Restriction 1, 2, and 3).
• Proven experience as a driver, with a clean driving record.
• Ability to drive both light vehicles (cars, vans) and heavy-duty trucks (if required).
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and ability to perform minor repairs.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle paperwork and documentation accurately.
• Must be punctual, reliable, and professional.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience as a company driver, truck driver, or messenger is a plus.
• Knowledge of the local area and route planning is beneficial.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position.
• Occasional overtime may be required depending on delivery schedules.
• Must be flexible to work in varying conditions and locations.
