Business Development Officer, Quezon City

• Responsible for setting up and handling relevant appliance and modern retail hardware stores to improve the reach or availability of our consumer products.
• He/She will manage promo merchandisers and monitor retail outlet sales programs, promotions, and activities to achieve sales targets and build long-term customer relationships.

Specific Duties

1. Manages retail staff and coordinate sales activities including pricing, visual merchandising, advertising and promotions, with the objective of reaching set sales targets
2. Coordinates the training of sales personnel to ensure competence and discipline.
3. Identifies, develops and opens new , relevant and promising retail outlets to expand our product reach.
4. Monitors compliance to given deadlines for opening of new stores.
5. During new product intros and promo launches, leads in end to end process from setting distribution platform, marketing activities to execution and monitoring and evaluation
6. Performs basic inventory management for retail to ensure availability and safety of products
7. Proactively studies retail outlet designs, shopping traffic, competition activities, general market trends to develop and modify strategies and tactics.
8. Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts

Job Requirements:

1. Must be a graduate of Business Administration, Management, Marketing or have working experience in handling retail sales, specifically in appliance or hardware industries.
2. Preferably 3-4 years experience in the retail field.
3. Outstanding organizational, leadership and communication skills
4. Must have skills in business planning, development, management and profit & loss analysis
5. Proficient in business applications especially spreadsheets.
6. Can perform basic data analysis
7. Have a good understanding of product displays and promotions
8. Obsessed with Customer Service
9. Must be willing and able to travel extensively
10. Willing to do what is needed to accomplish goals, even menial tasks
