Accounting Supervisor, Quezon City

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the accounting team, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor and maintain the companys internal controls, ensuring adherence to accounting policies and procedures.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Support budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ensure timely filing of tax returns, statutory contributions, and other government compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate accounting staff to improve performance and efficiency.
• Identify process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency in accounting operations.
• Handle other related tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) and MS Office applications, especially Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
