• Ability to prepare surfaces for painting (sanding, priming, cleaning).
• Knowledge of safety procedures for handling paints, chemicals, and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and finishing quality.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions (for outdoor jobs).
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods, kneel, or climb ladders.
• Good communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, or priming as needed.
• Mix and apply paints, varnishes, and other finishes to surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Ensure smooth and even application of paint or coatings, with a focus on quality and precision.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition, ensuring proper use and care.
• Protect surrounding areas from paint splatters using drop cloths, tape, and plastic sheeting.
• Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety standards and proper handling of materials.
• Perform touch-ups or refinishing on surfaces as required.
• Work with other contractors (e.g., carpenters or electricians) to coordinate project requirements and timelines.
• Keep work areas clean and dispose of paint-related waste in an environmentally responsible manner.
