Sales Engineer, Quezon City

Sales Engineer is responsible for combining technical knowledge and sales skills to oer the companys products and services to potential and existing customers. This roles focus is to understand customer needs, present solutions and contribute to overall sales process.  

Prospecting and Lead Generation

1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking and cold calling

2. Generate leads and build sales pipeline of potential clients

Sales and Product Presentation

1. Introduce the company to potential customers

2. Conduct product presentations including services offered

3. Address customer questions and concerns related to products and services

4. Attend, host and network with potential and existing customers at industry events.

Technical Consultation

1. Engage with customers to understand their technical requirements and challenges

2. Provide technical expertise and guidance to customers during the sales process

3. Collaborate with the Technical Support Group and Sales Team to develop solutions the meet customer needs.

Proposal Development

1. Prepare proposals, quotations and other commercial documents

2. Work closely with Sales team to ensure that proposal align

3. Work closely with the TSG to ensure that proposals align with customer requirements.

Sales Targets

1. Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets as set with Managers

2. Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales goals

3. Provide regular reports on sales performance and activities

Customer Relationship Management

1. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through regular communication

2. Understand client needs and provide customized solutions

3. Address client inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner

4. Follow up with customers post-sales to ensure satisfaction and identify new opportunities

Collaboration

1. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless customer service

2. Assist Finance Department with collections when needed

Adherence to Policies and Procedures

1. Follow company policies, standards and procedures

2. Maintain data security and privacy standards in all interactions

General Activities

1. Support activities of other departments

2. Attend meetings of the department and company-wide activities

3. Other tasks that may be assigned

Qualifications

• College Graduate; Degree in any engineering field or related course is an advantage
• Experience in technical sales or as a Sales Engineer is an advantage; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Willing to conduct fieldwork, client visits, and business presentations
• Possession of a valid drivers license is an advantage
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently
• Capable of working under pressure and achieving sales targets
• Strong team player with excellent customer service orientation
• Familiarity with industrial products or experience in a related industry is an advantage
