Mechanic, Pasay

A mechanic working for an air conditioning, refrigeration, and cold storage company is primarily responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of all refrigeration and HVAC systems, including commercial chillers, freezers, and cold storage units. The role emphasizes ensuring optimal performance, energy efficiency, and strict adherence to safety and environmental regulations. 

• Knowledge on Safety Standards and procedures in a warehouse or industrial setting.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration or cold storage system.
• Conduct precise troubleshooting using electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic testing equipment to diagnose faults in electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
• Maintain accurate and detailed logs of all maintenance activities, repairs, refrigerant usage, and spare parts consumption. Prepare daily or weekly reports as required.

Job Requirements:

• A high school diploma or equivalent, often supplemented by a technical or vocational certification in refrigeration and air conditioning. (TESDA NCII is a plus)
• Previous experience in commercial and industrial refrigeration and HVAC systems is preferred, especially within cold storage or food industry environments.
• Physical fitness to perform demanding tasks.
