Sanitary Engineer, Pasay

Position Summary

The Sanitary Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and supervision of sanitation systems in construction projects. This includes water supply, drainage, sewerage, and wastewater treatment systems. The role ensures that all sanitary works comply with health regulations, environmental standards, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Planning. Prepare detailed engineering designs for plumbing, drainage, and sewerage systems. Review architectural and structural plans to integrate sanitary systems effectively.
• Site Supervision. Monitor installation of sanitary fixtures, piping, and treatment systems. Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with approved plans and sanitary codes.
• Regulatory Compliance. Secure necessary permits and approvals from local government units and regulatory bodies. Ensure adherence to the National Plumbing Code of the Philippines and other relevant standards.
• Coordination & Reporting. Coordinate with civil, electrical, and mechanical engineers to resolve site issues. Prepare progress reports, inspection logs, and punch lists for sanitary works.
• Quality & Safety. Implement quality control procedures for sanitary installations. Promote safe work practices and environmental protection on-site.

Qualifications

• Licensed Sanitary Engineer (PRC)
• Bachelors degree in Sanitary Engineering or Civil Engineering with a major in Sanitary Engineering
• 13 years of experience in construction projects (residential, commercial, or infrastructure)

Skills & Competencies

• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and hydraulic modeling software
• Strong understanding of plumbing systems, wastewater treatment, and stormwater management
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with DPWH standards and LGU permitting processes
