PHP Developer, Zamboanga del Sur

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable in PHP (version 8.3.2) with at least 2 years of development experience
• Experience with PHP Frameworks, specifically CodeIgniter3 or CodeIgniter4
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, Bootstrap
• Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, including Higher-Order Functions (HOF), asynchronous programming, and jQuery
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English)
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Utilizing Generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) for software development and problem-solving
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient with SQL database queries.
• Strong understanding of security best practices

Nice to Have (but not required):

• Familiarity with API integrations
• Experience using Git or version control systems
• Knowledge of modern frontend frameworks
• Experience working in Agile teams

Tasks & responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance PHP web applications
• Build and manage databases with efficient and secure data storage practices
• Develop responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Troubleshoot bugs, errors, and performance bottlenecks
• Collaborate with project leaders to understand requirements and provide technical recommendations
• Implement coding best practices and maintain clean, organized codebases
• Conduct regular security checks and apply best practices to safeguard applications
• Participate in planning, development, testing, and deployment processes
• Utilize AI tools such as ChatGPT for development efficiency and problem-solving
• Maintain proper technical documentation and project files
