Job Summary


The Compliance Staff is responsible for ensuring that the company complies with all government regulations, licensing requirements, and operational permits related to the food and beverage industry. The role involves monitoring permit renewals, coordinating with government agencies, maintaining compliance records, and supporting branches and departments in meeting regulatory requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Process, monitor, and renew business permits, licenses, and government registrations for stores and company operations.
  • Coordinate with local government units and other regulatory agencies.
  • Ensure timely submission of compliance documents and reports to government agencies.
  • Maintain and organize updated records of permits, contracts, licenses, and compliance-related documents.
  • Monitor expiration dates of permits and ensure renewals are completed before deadlines.
  • Assist branches and departments in securing operational permits and regulatory clearances.
  • Conduct regular compliance checks to ensure company operations adhere to legal and regulatory standards.
  • Prepare compliance status reports and updates for management.
  • Assist during inspections, audits, and regulatory visits.
  • Coordinate with internal departments regarding compliance requirements and document preparation.
  • Stay updated on changes in government regulations affecting the food and beverage industry.
  • Perform other administrative and compliance-related tasks assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Legal Management, Accountancy, Political Science, or any related course.
  • At least 12 years of experience in compliance, permits processing, government liaison, or administrative work is preferred.
  • Experience in the food and beverage, retail, or hospitality industry is an advantage.
  • Knowledgeable in business permit processing and government compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with SEC, BIR, LGU, FDA, and DOLE regulations is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of handling multiple permits and deadlines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Willing to do fieldwork and process documents with government agencies when necessary.
