Site Surveyor, Manila

As the Site Surveyor, you will be the foundational and responsible for the precision and spatial accuracy of our construction projects. You will transition from initial site assessments to providing continuous technical support throughout the construction lifecycle. By establishing critical control points and verifying as-built conditions, you ensure that every architectural, structural and interior design element is positioned exactly as designed, preventing costly spatial errors and boundary disputes.

Key Responsibilities:

       Set up and maintain primary horizontal and vertical control points; perform precise site layouts for civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and other trade works.

       Conduct topographic surveys, boundary surveys, and detailed site mapping to facilitate design and planning.

       Record as-built measurements during and after construction phases to verify compliance and provide accurate records for the final project handover.

       Assist in calculating area measurements for Progress Billings and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) validation.

       Calibrate and maintain high-precision surveying instruments like Total Stations, GPS/GNSS, Leveling instruments whichever is applicable.

       Prepare detailed survey reports, sketches, and digital data files for the project management team and consultants.

About the applicant

• Civil or Geodetic Engineering, though we are open to experienced undergraduates or non-licensed professionals who have at least five years of experience with general contractors.
• You should have a strong background in large-scale construction or high-end interior fit-outs and be fully proficient in AutoCAD and other allied software and modern surveying technology.
• A solid understanding of local building codes and Philippine surveying standards is essential to ensure all site data is accurate and compliant.
• Excellent understanding of construction sequencing and the ability to interpret complex technical drawings, blueprints, and site plans.
• Strong leadership skills to guide survey assistants and coordinate effectively with the QA/QC and MEP teams.
• High attention to physical detail and spatial accuracy with robust problem-solving skills for complex site conditions.
• Proficient in digital record management and reporting.
• The success of this role is measured by the absolute precision of site layouts and control points, maintaining a zero-tolerance policy for spatial errors to eliminate rework.
• You will be expected to deliver survey data and comprehensive As-Built documentation strictly within construction schedules to ensure seamless decision-making.
• Additionally, maintaining high standards for equipment calibration and documentation reliability is essential to upholding the technical integrity of the project.
• This role is site-based in active construction environments and may require extended working hours, weekend work, or mobility between project areas.
