A Delivery Helper assists the driver in transporting goods safely and efficiently to customers or business locations. The role involves loading and unloading items, ensuring accurate deliveries, and providing basic customer service.

• Assist the driver with loading and unloading goods from the vehicle
• Ensure items are handled carefully to prevent damage
• Verify delivery items against invoices or delivery receipts
• Help navigate routes and ensure timely deliveries
• Deliver products to customers and obtain signatures or proof of delivery
• Communicate with customers in a polite and professional manner
• Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized
• Report damaged, missing, or incorrect items
• Follow safety procedures during transport and handling
• Assist in basic warehouse tasks when needed

• High school diploma or equivalent (often preferred)
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy items
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Basic math skills for checking quantities
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if needed
