Electrical Installation & Maintenance

• Install, inspect,troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, wiring, panels, lighting, and power distribution for microtunneling and construction sites.
• Set up electrical power supply for MTBM equipment, jacking frames, pumps, ventilation systems, lighting, and control panels.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical components such as motors, breakers,transformers, relays, sensors, switches, and instrumentation devices.
• Ensure proper grounding, cable routing, and protection for all electrical installations.

Microtunneling Support

• Support the electrical setup and monitoring of MTBM machines, lubrication pumps,slurry systems, and automated controls.
• Perform wiring and connection of control circuits, PLC-assisted equipment, and instrumentation components.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults during tunneling operations to minimize downtime.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow electrical codes, safety regulations, and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with project specifications, local standards,and safety protocols.
• Inspect and test electrical systems using appropriate tools (multimeter, tester, megger, etc.).
• Participate in toolbox talks, hazard identification, and risk assessment activities.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate logs of electrical maintenance, inspections, testing, and repairs.
• Assist in preparing reports, checklists, and daily activity documentation.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and safety officers for permits and compliance requirements.

• At least 35 years experience as an Electrician in industrial,utilities, or construction projects.
• Experience with microtunneling, TBM, or mechanical/electrical
• equipment (advantage).
• Knowledgeable in electrical installation, fault isolation, and
• preventive maintenance.
• Familiar with reading electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and
• wiring layouts.
• Certifications (preferred):
• TESDA Electrical Installation & Maintenance NC II/III
• Basic Electrical Safety / Lockout-Tagout
• Confined Space Entry (advantage)
• First Aid/Basic Life Support (optional)
