Job Description:
The Kitchen Commis / Commis 1 is an entry-level chef position responsible for assisting the culinary team in daily kitchen operations. This role focuses on learning and performing basic food preparation, supporting senior chefs, and maintaining a clean and organized workstation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn and perform basic food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Assist senior chefs with chopping, washing, and other kitchen tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, tools, and kitchen equipment.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Support the kitchen team in ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
