Service Technician, Manila

Job Description:

A Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electronic equipment and components. The role requires strong knowledge in electronics, including the ability to troubleshoot and repair printed circuit boards (PC boards). The technician ensures that all repairs are performed efficiently and according to company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic equipment and systems.
• Repair and maintain printed circuit boards (PC boards) and other electronic components.
• Perform testing and inspection of electronic devices to ensure proper functionality.
• Identify defective parts and replace or repair them as necessary.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Prepare service reports and document repairs performed.
• Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and used safely.
• Assist customers or internal departments regarding technical concerns when necessary.

Qualifications:

• With background in Electronics or Electrical Technology.
• Knowledgeable in PC board troubleshooting and repair.
• Experience in soldering, desoldering, and use of electronic testing tools.
• Ability to read electronic diagrams and schematics.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
• With good problem-solving skills.
