Electrical Engineer, Manila

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver HV substation primary system designs, including earthing, insulation coordination, and electro-magnetic studies.
• Prepare and review technical specifications, scope documents, tenders, and engineering reports
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and client requirements.
• Liaise with internal design teams (civil, structural, overhead line).
• Provide technical input and resolution during the construction and commissioning phases.
• Actively support business development by contributing to tenders.
• Foster a collaborative team culture and support the development of engineering capability.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, renewable engineering, or related disciplines.Minimum 10 years of experience in renewable energy projects
• Must have experience with both solar and wind renewable energy technologiesAbility to perform string sizing, inverter selection, and DC/AC ratio optimization for utility-scale projectsExperience must be specifically with utility-scale projects only.Deep understanding of single-line diagrams (SLDs),three diagrams, voltage drop calculation, and protection and protection coordination.
• Expert-level AutoCad (2D/3D)or PVcase for layout automation and terrain-following designs.
• Proficiency in PVsyst and HelioScope ground-mount system.
