Compliance Officer, Manila

JOB SUMMARY

The HR Compliance Officer ensures that the organization's HR policies, procedures, and practices comply with local labor laws, regulatory requirements, and company standards. This role monitors compliance, conducts audits, provides guidance on legal and ethical HR practices, and supports risk management initiatives. The HR Compliance Officer works closely with HR leadership and other departments to maintain a compliant and ethical workplace.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop, implement, and maintain HR compliance policies and procedures.
• Monitor adherence to labor laws, employment regulations, and company policies.
• Conduct regular audits of HR processes, employee records, and documentation.
• Advise HR and management on compliance-related issues and risk mitigation.
• Investigate and resolve compliance concerns or violations.
• Prepare compliance reports for management and regulatory bodies.
• Coordinate with legal counsel on employment law matters when necessary.
• Provide training and guidance to HR staff and managers on compliance requirements.
• Stay updated on changes in labor laws and HR regulations.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by your head or management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, Law, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2-3 years in HR compliance, labor relations, or HR operations.
• Knowledge of labor laws and employment regulations.
• Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
