Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to lead our front-of-house team and ensure that every guest enjoys an authentic Vietnamese dining experience. You will oversee daily operations, mentor staff, and maintain the high standards of service and food quality that our brand is known for. The ideal candidate has a strong background in F&B management and a genuine love for Vietnamese culinary culture.


Key Responsibilities (Task List)

Operational Leadership

  • Daily Supervision: Lead pre-shift briefings to communicate daily specials (e.g., Mn c Bit), 86'd items, and service goals.
  • Floor Management: Direct the flow of service during high-volume periods, managing the waitlist and ensuring efficient table turnover.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular "table touches" to gather feedback and ensure dishes meet presentation and taste standards.
  • Problem Solving: Act as the first point of contact for guest complaints, resolving issues with the "Vietnamese hospitality" spirit of warmth and respect.

Staff Management & Training

  • Training: Train new hires on Vietnamese menu items, including pronunciation, ingredients (for allergy awareness), and the proper way to serve specific dishes (e.g., explaining how to assemble Gi cun or add garnishes to Ph).
  • Scheduling: Manage staff rosters and ensure labor costs align with the restaurant's budget.
  • Mentorship: Monitor performance and provide ongoing coaching to servers, hosts, and bussers.

Administrative & Inventory

  • Inventory: Oversee the ordering of front-of-house supplies and coordinate with the kitchen to monitor the freshness of specialty Vietnamese ingredients.
  • Financials: Manage cash handling, end-of-day reporting, and POS system reconciliations.
  • Compliance: Ensure the restaurant meets all health and safety regulations, including food hygiene and liquor licensing.


Job Requirements

Experience: Minimum 23 years of experience in a supervisory or "Captain" role within a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Cuisine Knowledge: Strong familiarity with Vietnamese cuisine and dining etiquette is highly preferred.

Leadership: Proven ability to lead a diverse team and stay calm under pressure.

Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills; proficiency in Vietnamese is a significant plus but not required.

Technical Skills: Proficient with POS systems and basic Microsoft Office.

Flexibility: Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evening shifts.
