The Assistant Director of Sales (ADOS) supports the Director of Sales in leading the sales team, developing strategies to achieve revenue targets, strengthening client relationships, and driving overall sales performance. This role ensures the execution of effective sales plans, market analysis, and team coordination to maximize business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Planning
- Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual revenue goals.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Team Leadership & Support
- Provide guidance and coaching to the sales team to enhance productivity and performance.
- Support in setting sales targets and monitoring team achievements.
Client Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with key accounts, corporate partners, and business clients.
- Handle escalated client concerns and ensure high satisfaction levels.
Business Development
- Explore new markets and business channels to increase company visibility and revenue.
- Lead sales presentations, proposals, and negotiations when necessary.
Sales Operations & Reporting
- Oversee daily sales operations to ensure timely submission of reports, proposals, and contracts.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts and performance reports to management.
Collaboration with Other Departments
- Coordinate with Marketing, Reservations, and Operations to support sales campaigns and client requirements.
- Ensure smooth execution of events, bookings, and client arrangements.
Revenue Management Support
- Work closely with the Director of Sales and Revenue team to align pricing strategies and promotions.
- Monitor sales performance against budget and suggest corrective actions.
Compliance & Standards
- Ensure adherence to company policies, sales processes, and service standards.
- Uphold confidentiality of client and business information.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 35 years of experience in Sales, preferably in hospitality or service industry.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyze data and develop actionable strategies.
