Sales Coordinator

A Sales Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the sales team and ensuring smooth operations within the sales department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support
  • Handle sales paperwork, including quotes, contracts, and other forms.
  • Organize and maintain customer databases and records.
  • Prepare data entry tasks to aid in sales reports and sales performance.
  • Customer Interaction
  • Communicate with customers regarding booking status, deliveries, and pick-up schedule availability.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues or concerns promptly.
  • Coordinate with customers to ensure bookings are processed correctly and delivered on time.
  • Sales Team Support
  • Assist the sales team with scheduling meetings, appointments, and follow-ups.
  • Coordinate sales training and product information updates for the team.
  • Help manage sales documentation, presentations, and proposals.
  • Booking Processing & Follow-Ups
  • Process customer bookings, track booking/delivery status, and coordinate with relevant departments.
  • Work with other departments (e.g., operations and finance) to ensure bookings are fulfilled.
  • Ensure timely delivery of bookings and services.
  • Sales Reporting & Analysis
  • Generate reports on sales trends, forecasts, and performance metrics.
  • Assist in developing sales strategies and tracking progress toward goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
  • Coordination & Collaboration
  • Act as a liaison between the sales team and other departments such as operations, finance, and management.
  • Assist in managing relationships with internal and external clients.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in office software (Excel, Word, etc.)

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in business, marketing, or related fields may be preferred
  • Previous experience (2-3 years) in sales or customer service is REQUIRED
