Job Requirements
  • Staff Management: Hire, train, schedule, supervise, motivate, and conduct performance reviews for housekeeping staff.
  • Operations & Standards:Inspect guest rooms and common areas for cleanliness, order, and maintenance.
  • Develop and enforce cleanliness, hygiene, and safety protocols.
  • Manage daily cleaning, laundry, and servicing of all areas.
  • Inventory & Budgeting:
  • Monitor and manage stock of supplies, linens, and equipment.
  • Order supplies and control departmental costs.
  • Maintenance & Repairs:
  • Identify and report faults or damage in rooms and facilities.
  • Arrange for necessary repairs and maintenance.
  • Guest Services:
  • Respond to customer complaints and special requests.
  • Ensure seamless coordination with other departments (like Front Desk) for guest satisfaction.
  • Administration:
  • Create staff rotas and manage timekeeping.
  • Maintain records and manage lost property.
  • Act as "manager on duty" when required.
