Examining Physician, Manila

We are looking for a Licensed Physician to serve as an Examining Physician, responsible for conducting thorough physical examinations of seafarers and overseas workers, validating medical histories, and accurately documenting clinical findings. The role plays a key part in supporting fitness-to-work evaluations in accordance with established medical standards and applicable guidelines.

QUALIFICATION:

• Licensed Medical Doctor in the Philippines
• At least 2 years of clinical practice
• Available to start immediately
• Preferably with MOSH (Basic Occupational Safety and Health) training
• Experience in conducting Pre Employment Medical Examination or Occupational Health is an advantage
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to deliver lectures/presentations on health-related topics
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
• Flexible and adaptable
• Willing to undertake additional responsibilities as required

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations of examinees (initial and repeat), including those with prior surgical or non-surgical procedures.
• Interview examinees to verify and confirm declared medical history.
• Accurately document all clinical findings, observations, and assessments during the examination.
• Provide medical advice, prescriptions, and request additional diagnostic procedures when necessary.
• Endorse or refer examinees to DOH-accredited specialists for further evaluation as needed.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of medical records in accordance with clinic protocols and standards.
• Conduct health awareness lectures/seminars as needed (may be subject to additional compensation)

Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Salary: Php50,000.00 - Php52,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• M-F (8:00 AM TO 5:00 PM) SAT (8:00 AM TO 12:00 PM)

Supplemental pay types:

• 13th month salary
• Overtime pay
