Common duties and responsibilities

• Replenishment: Stocking shelves, displays, and vending machines with products to ensure availability and prevent stockouts.
• Maintenance and cleaning: cleaning equipment, machines, and the work area to maintain hygiene and operational standards. This can include both internal and external cleaning.
• Inventory management: Monitoring stock levels, recording inventory usage, and reporting shortages or damage.
• Technical support: Performing basic maintenance, troubleshooting minor technical issues, and reporting major malfunctions to a supervisor.
• Customer service: Assisting customers, recording transactions, and sometimes handling payments.
• Logistics: Safely transporting supplies and equipment and often adhering to a schedule to ensure efficient coverage of a specific route or area. 

Qualifications and skills

• Physical ability: The role often requires lifting, carrying, and standing for long periods.
• Technical skills: Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills are often necessary.
• Soft skills: Good communication, reliability, and trustworthiness are important.
