Merchandising Supervisor, Manila

• Supervising, training, and motivating a team of Field Coordinators that handle Promodisers assigned in various stores nationwide, ensuring that all territories has the appropriate manpower complement, and all team members are well-equipped to perform their duties.
• Implementing and overseeing merchandising strategies, including the execution of planograms, allocation and distribution of store POP materials, ensure the execution of standard display setups and highlights, and implementation of in-store promotional activities and events.
• Set periodic sales objectives, and track the sales performance per store and territory, ensure the attainment of target, drive the sales of push product, and identifying areas for sales improvement.
• Strengthen relationships with store managers and store supervisors, set a positive supplier experience in the store level. Attend to customers concerns and swiftly resolve any issues that affect the relationships with clients.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Marketing, Merchandising, or Retail, or any related course.
• Proven experience in merchandising or trade marketing in a Modern Trade setting. Experience in FMCG is an advantage.
• Experience in a junior managerial or supervisory role, leading a team with direct reports.
• Leadership ability to coach, motivate, guide and manage a team, and individual team members.
• Proficiency in MS Office most especially excel and powerpoint
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members, store managers.
• Ability to analyze sales data, reports gathered. And the capability to summarize them, and create a thorough presentation to upper management
• Detail-oriented. Has keen attention to detail in tasks such as product placement and movement, pricing, and inventory management.
