Description

Carry out body restoration on vintage and classic vehicles, including:
Metal shaping, rust repairs, welding, and panel fabrication.
Body alignment, panel fitting, and finishing to original specifications.
Preparing surfaces for paint, including sanding and priming.
Collaborate with painters, trimmers, and mechanics to achieve complete restorations.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and uphold workshop quality standards.
Care for and respect historically significant vehicles.

Trade qualification in Automotive Body Repair / Panel Beating (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in classic or vintage vehicle restoration (bodywork focus essential).
Strong welding, fabrication, and metal finishing skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and restoration plans.
High attention to detail, craftsmanship, and pride in quality workmanship.
Passion for vintage/classic cars and automotive heritage.
